Aconcagua Mountain Guides: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: A good local company for Aconcagua mountain expedition with excellent staff .
Experiencia fantástica: I would like to give special thanks to guada. Many weeks after the trip she went out of her way to send my bag home to the UK from Mendoza. I experienced excellent service during, and long after the trip. The team genuinely cares about me, and clients and I am so grateful. Thankyou !
Experiencia fantástica: Amazing Experience, we were treated like royalty. This company deserves 10 stars out of 5. If you want an experience of a lifetime, hire them!!!
Experiencia fantástica: Thanks to their kind support, I could go to the summit solo. Thank you again!
Thank you Pato. Gonzalo. Guada. Flavia Carolina Frederico. And staff in the camp. ❤️. Jean Paul (sud)
Great set up and great guides. Ask for Ruben or Victor you won't be disappointed!
Experiencia fantástica: Excellent company on all aspects! I went to Aconcagua with them in february 2024. I fell ill just before the start and the office people helped me out with everything, and arranged for me to go with the next expedition a week later. On the mountain I was amazed by their logistics, camps, food, the quality and quantity of guides. We had two guides up to base camp, then three up to Nido de Condores, and four on our summit day, on a group of eight! So there's always a guide to get you down if you need to. All guides were nice, knowledgable, helpfull and one even was an outstanding mountain cook. We did the normal route and the itinerary was very well set up, with enough acclimatisation and rest days. I would definitely recommend AMG!
Experiencia fantástica: Climbing Mount Aconcagua with AMG was an outstanding experience. Excellent organisation from the very beginning, great service prior and after booking, heaps of helpful information, sensational mountain guides. Everything just awesome. I recommend AMG any time. Thank you guys for everything
Experiencia fantástica: Choosing a company for an expedition is not always easy and there are occasions you may regret your choice. I chose Aconcagua Mountain Guides for my January 2024 expedition and I would have no hesitation in choosing them again. Hours before the start of our expedition the Vacas Valley was closed to all due to safety concerns, this was communicated and explained quickly and effectively. From that moment on my whole experience was first class, the professional guides, the amazing camp staff who were so friendly and served food way beyond my expectations, simply everyone in an AMG shirt was a credit to the company. Having had to summit via the normal route on this occasion, should I return to complete the 360 traverse I will be choosing AMG.
Experiencia fantástica: Welcome and introduction - very professional Facilities were great Guide was excellent Help on the mountain very good Information and explanation very good Food was great Very accommodating
Experiencia negativa: AMG has its own camps, but regarding facilities: they are much more limited comparing to others like Inka Exp and Grajales, and rather poor service (sometimes did not have any dinner, just because they it took them too long to prepare, but to have a dinner at 10 pm was not a good idea for me personally, hot showers sometimes have just cold water and nobody warned about it) and famous “argentinian” timing, which means to add some another 1-2 hours to the time they set to be ready for. And a guide with his own opinion who can easily change the whole impression of the climbing trip. Overall feeling is quite poor, but anyways, thank you so much for the lifetime experience

Experiencia fantástica: Excelente
¡Muchas gracias!
Experiencia fantástica: had an excellent and amazing expedition in this January, 5 out of 8 finally summited. we had a great team and the guides have been taking good care of us. I will never forget this trip and those lovely climbing partners.
Hi Sunny, and thank you for your comment! It's great to hear that you felt well cared for and had an unforgettable experience in the mountains with your fellow climbers. Thanks for your feedback!
Experiencia fantástica: Such a fantastic company that provided me with the trip of exbidition of lifetime. From the start nothing was too much trouble and even though I had to cancel and rearrange twice it was never an issue. Flavia & Silvana ever present to help me and support me with any queries I had at any time of the day or night. The exbidition itself was faultless. Our guide Juan was beyond helpful and his knowledge second to none. Safety being his number 1 priority and our enjoyment being his second. Food on the mountains was as good as at sea level and living conditions equal to it. I felt very lucky and honoured to of had Juan 'Jonny' as my guide and without Juan and Charlie I would probably of not summitted. I would not hesitate to recommend the company or indeed Juan as a guide. Thank you all at AMG in making what seemed the impossible become possible. Neil.
Hi Neil! It's absolutely great to read that your expedition was so amazing. As we always emphasize with all our climbers, our main goal is to offer every climber a safe and enjoyable experience. All of our teams work really hard to provide the best possible experience, and comments like yours make us feel that we are on the right path! Once again, thank you for your comment and for choosing our company to climb Aconcagua.
Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about this company!! The best food, customer service, experienced guides, and attentiveness on the mountain to be sure. My partner proposed to me on our trek up Aconcagua this past year and AMG helped him coordinate EVERYTHING! Including advising him on the best spot to ask, etc. months in advance! It was one of the most magical experiences of my life, and it wouldn't have been the same without their help. As for the trek itself, I really found the guides with this company to be on another level entirely compared to other companies on the mountain. Would 10/10 recommend AMG for your trek.
Dear Emily, we are truly touched by your heartfelt review! Congratulations on your engagement; we're thrilled to have been a part of such a special moment. It warms our hearts to know that our team's dedication to exceptional service, experienced guides, and attention to detail enhanced your expedition and your time in Argentina.
Creating magical experiences for our climbers is at the core of what we do, and we're delighted to hear that our assistance in coordinating the proposal added an extra layer of joy to your journey. Your kind words about our guides mean the world to us, and we're grateful for your recommendation.
Thank you for choosing AMG, and we absolutely look forward to welcoming you back for more unforgettable adventures in the future!
Experiencia positiva: Hi there. AMG was our tour provider for Aconcagua 360 Polish traverse tour in Dec’23-Jan’24. First of all I’d like to say that for the relatively cheaper price this company offers a good service and a decent chance for you to end up on top of the mountain provided fitness level and weather allows you to summit. Secondly, the guides we have (Juan, Paola & Claudia) were amazing, these guys are heroes who do everything on the tour: from portering to guiding. The office staff is also extremely helpful and was answering all the questions very quickly. Several watch outs though and hopefully management takes note to improve: - tents: the model is great but we were surprised that we are expected to assemble and disassemble them each time we move camps. Kind of tough at 5500m or 6000m after 6h of hiking. Why don’t you keep the tents permanently at camps rather than carry them around? Would +10-20tents per season make such a big difference? Or get the porters do it for an extra $50pp (this is how we settled the question on the mountain) - toilets at higher camps (C1, C2, C3) I do not know how expensive is it to install a toilet at higher camps. AMG uses a standard tent where you squat and do your business on a piece of paper, then fold it and deposit in a bag. Other operators have toilets installed (not all!). If this is a deal breaker for you ask about toilets at high camps in advance! - too much relies on guides. As I was saying above, our guides were absolutely great. Heroes, if you ask me. You can’t exploit them like this though. They are expected to carry loads between high camps, then help us pitch tents, fetch snow or ice to melt water, cook, give guidance, etc. This is too much. In the morning I was waking up early and often had to wait till hot water was available as it’s a lengthy process to melt snow to make it. Assign a porter or an assistant guide to each group who helps with tents and water so that when the group arrives tents are pitched and tea is available. It’s standard practice elsewhere. Is it a question of cost for AMG? How much could 1 porter cost per tour for a group of 10? I’m sure this could also benefit local porters association… These are just watch outs/suggestions, no critical concerns. AMG is a well organised and functioning organisation which will enable you to reach the top and have a great experience provided you are ready for it!
Hi Ivan, and thank you for your feedback.
We appreciate your kind words about our guiding staff, and indeed, we consider them all heroes—dedicated professionals with unstoppable passion.
Starting next year, we plan to increase the number of domes in the high camps to enhance climbers' overall experience. It's worth noting that we take our tents back to our logistical base in Mendoza after each trip for necessary repairs and maintenance. This ensures they are fully operational for the next expedition. Sometimes, weather conditions or overall mountain circumstances requiere immediate fixes or replacements.
We have already implemented a new toilet system in the high camps, addressing a valid concern you raised. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your time on the mountain, and we acknowledge the need for improvement.
Regarding the guides and their responsibilities in the high camps, it's part of their job and routine to perform the tasks you've described. While they receive support from the entire structure, including basecamp, porter, office, and logistical staff, some duties are inherent to their profession. Over the last decade, their role has evolved, shedding certain tasks that were once commonplace, such as shopping and packing all the food for the expedition, carrying all the loads alongside passengers, and assembling all the tents without climber assistance. Fortunately, those days are behind us.
We value your comment, and rest assured, we take notes to make improvements based on constructive feedback like yours.
Once again, thank you once again for sharing your insights.
Experiencia negativa: I summit Aconcágua with AMG, Aconcagua Mountain Guides (a sort of cheaper branch of Alpine Ascents in Argentina, as it is possible to find Aconcagua expeditions more expensive in AA website). However, I wouldn’t not do it again. The more important topics I present concerns on their services are: safety, water safety and availability. These make a huge difference in such expeditions and I’m quite sure that these undermined the possibility of some people in my group to summit. I’m also sure they are a aware of these problems but they don’t do anything about it. E.g.: I wrote them a more elaborated and constructive feedback 3 months ago and I didn’t receive any feedback. Alternatively, during my expedition I learned the agencies, Grajales Expeditions and Aconcagua Vision are the best as provide better services and I could also see it as these agencies were also running expeditions during mine. With what I know today, I would go with one of these agencies if I aimed to summit Aconcagua.
Hello, André
First of all, I’m sorry for taking so long in replying, but I’m glad that you made it to the summit. Our client’s feedback is the backbone of all the upgrading and improvements made in our service.
In the past six years, Aconcagua’s drought has represented a true test in the high camps, but we have done–and will continue doing–everything in our power to keep both quantity and quality in terms of water supply, which is particularly challenging at the end of the season. All the high camps in the Normal Route suffer a bit of mineral pollution due to the rapid melting of the snow, which we, as per recommendation of the medical staff of the Park, kept in use with proper treatment. This situation affects every single company in Aconcagua, and all of us do our very best to minimize its impact on every expedition on the Park.
I believe is our obligation to tell you that our company was the only one during the 2022-2023 climbing season who didn’t suffer any kind of fatality or accident with climbers during the last season, and we still hold the best safety record on the mountain. It’s not just our opinion, but also the official statistics of the Aconcagua Park.
It’s important for us to tell you that we are not, in any way, a cheap branch of any company. We are a one hundred percent local climbing company–and everybody in our staff takes great pride in that–with commercial partnerships to provide top quality logistics for companies, climbing clubs and outdoor institutions, such as the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). The agreement you mention with Alpine Ascents is the same that we have with no less than a dozen of climbing outfitters from all over the world, mostly from Europe and the USA.
Best
Experiencia fantástica: Love every minute of the trip to Aconcagua doing the Polish 360 Traverse with guides Juan and Georgio (and also Matthias who joined later on). The guides were extremely knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and worked incredibly hard to make sure the team could progress as one up the mountain. One of the best adventures of my life and something I will always cherish. Even in the thin air and freezing cold winds, the guys were making sure we were safe, as well as team members of other expeditions, such was their professionalism. I will definitely recommend AMG to my mates, and hope that next time I'm in Argentina mountaineering, I get the chance to climb again with Juan and Gergio! Legends!
Hi, Brett. Thank you for your kind words and comments about our guiding team. We agree with you; they are absolutely legends! Hope to see you again in our beloved mountain. We’ll make sure you are accompanied by the best guides and staff, as we always do!
Experiencia fantástica: What an amazing staff beginning with Flavia. I couldn’t imagine the overwhelming amount of emails she receives and must respond to. She did so diligently and with more than enough information for us to plan our journey and so smoothly. Thank you Flavia. Once we arrived we were met by Mileena who showed us around and escorted us to acquire our rental equipment. She made herself constantly available to us, helped ensure we had a good trip from the Mountain, to dining in the city, visiting wineries, and enjoying an amazing day at a world class spa after our climb. Her attention to detail and dedication to her clients is sub par to none. During our ascent we were only met by the best hosts at each camp. Josue at Confluencia is an absolutely amazing person. His details for preparation for our next movement and accommodations at base camp were superb. If you are lucky you will pass through Confluencia on the day he prepares an Asado. The best we had during our entire visit. His positive energy and great attitude was motivational. At Plaza de Mulas we were greeted by Luca and Juan upon arrival. They displayed their concerns for our safety and met us at the entrance of the camp as we moved slowly and got their late. They immediately took our bags, put us in a dome with fresh soup and food and began prepping us for the next day of acclimitization. Juan, Luca, and staff at plaza de Mulas were nothing shy of absolutely amazing. They offered great advice and always carried a smile. Upon returning to Mendoza, we were greeted by Mileena and Macarena. They met us just to inquire of our journey. Upon realizing we had more than a week left in the city, they offered countless recommendations and accommodations in the city. To ensure we had a pleasant time they even went as far as to invite us to enjoy watching Argentina play in the World Cup with them. This was an afternoon that I will never forget. Their hospitality can not be matched. Coupling my journey with the help of AMG gave me memories for a lifetime and for that I will forever be thankful.
Experiencia fantástica: Un lujo de atención!
Muchas gracias Ale!!
Experiencia fantástica: Insanely difficult experience but I don't think any other agency would have fared better. Due to weather conditions, our 18-day itinerary had to be accelerated by 2 days just before the summit push. This mean we were hauling twice the weight in half the time. The group of us remaining past base camp (8 of 10) voted unanimously to try to finish earlier to avoid dangerous winds. Only 6 of the remaining 8 summited. It’s tough and unfortunately you can't control all the factors that may make you uncontrollably sick to continue forward. Personally, I lost 11 kg during the entire expedition, and I was eating more than just about anybody. For the most part the food was tasty and plentiful (with the exception at camp 3 where you are already at 6000 m and water boils at like 60 C..). Regardless the last 100 m were so unbelievably difficult for me and after having had two in our group already drop off that day, I had to be honest with the guides. I explained that I thought I could summit but couldn't be entirely sure. I think my honesty was reassuring as they allowed me to continue and ultimately summit. Some others were overconfidently assuring they could summit, and this led to some unsafe practices on the part of the mountaineer. We chose AMG because it seemed to be priced well. It wasn't the cheapest but had a decent record for successful summits. In general, the rate is about 80% and if an agency is less, you should watch out. AMG made sure we all had enough gear and that we could rent the appropriate mountaineering boots, or other equipment before we set out the trek. Overall, it was an absolutely thrilling experience and I recommend it too absolutely nobody! If you are nonetheless crazy enough to still try this trip, train hard, lose some weight and expose yourself to some cold. Maybe even grow out your bear in preparation for -30C nights.
Experiencia fantástica: As company they supported the expedition extremely well. They helped us in preparation of all documentation including permits for the park( which was climber's responsibility). Everyone in administration staff are very polite and extremely helpful to answer all your questions regarding climbing, covid rules. Flavia is fantastic, she initially kept me well informed and communicated well on WhatsApp and email. Melina is this amazing person who helped us even after climbed was over, answer all out questions and she was even keeping an eye out for the covid entrance requirements for climbers home country so when we came down, she had information ready for us, because some of us were flying back next day after coming back to hotel, that's just crazy( in good way). For an example she helped me to get my covid test for my return flight 15 days after my climb was over. I was just impressed how extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff AMG has. The guide (Hernan) and assistant guides(Pedro and Paulina) are the best people in the mountains to be with. They are not mountain guides , they are just those best friends who help other friends to excel in their lives and support their dreams. All guides are fantastic, professional, knowledgeable and very lovely people. I am coming back 2023 January and only thing I want to ask for is these guides, all three of them. Food in base camps was mind blowing. However food in high camps were not enough and nutritious, I understand pandemic could be the reason. Reason I am writing about the food is because, I climbed with AMG in 2017 and food in high camps were just perfect for climbing, nutritious and enough, and knowing this facts I didn't not pack much food for 2022 January climb and I was hungry all the time. I really want to say Thank you very much AMG for great support. see guys in 2023 January.
Experiencia negativa: Hello, I would like to share with you mountain climbers the very disappointing experience I had climbing Aconcagua with AMG. In fact, I am lost for words by the way we were exploited by this company and its owner. We started the expedition on Jan 16, 2022, with an itinerary to summit the mountain in 18 days, planning for 2 additional days to accommodate for possible impeding contingencies. The group consisted of 8 climbers, all came from different parts of the world specifically for this climb, paying $4000 each to AMG and $800 to the park for entrance. Six days into the expedition, on January 22, our guide, who was terrific, fell ill with Covid. According to park rules, we had to get off the mountain, as a group, due to exposure. We descended on the 23rd. Three of us wanted to resume the expedition. On January 25th, the owner of the company reassured us that we can return to the mountain within the next two days and complete the expedition in 8 days, well within the original timeframe; however, he demanded $2500 for resuming the climb and an additional $800 for another park entrance fee, stating that this was “an unbelievable offer” that only covered expenses even after everything the group had already paid previously ($32,000). When we protested, the owner simply said that he did not owe us anything and that he would turn his attention to other people if he sensed any attempt to negotiate, threatening to essentially terminate his interaction with us. Although the company reserves the right to cancel the trip and change prices, and I cannot verify the company’s expenses, I felt that this was not reasonable. He promised a group of people who came from thousands of miles away, took time off work, spent many thousands of dollars on travel and the climb itself that his company would lead an expedition to summit Aconcagua. He then took advantage of a very temporary setback to cancel the expedition and pocket the money. In the end, other people tested positive for covid, but this was after the fact. I left with a sense that the owner and the company were willing to call off a trip as a leverage to get more money in bad faith, taking advantage of the fact that foreign climbers would have no recourse in this situation and likely give in. I am shocked that this kind of a rip off can happen so unapologetically and hope this warning can alert other climbers to such potential outcomes. Best of luck to those out there.
Hi Yuval. First of all, we are truly sorry that you had a bad experience and the expedition did not live up to your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, since your feedback is important and we rely on hearing from our passengers to ensure we’re doing a great job, especially in such an unpredictable climbing season like the one we are finishing. We are also sorry about any kind of misunderstanding in the follow up after your team descended from the mountain, and we do apologize if you felt not heard. Our customers are the core of our business and we always do our very best to make sure they meet their expectations. We understand you’re feeling disappointed about your returning to the mountain, but believe us when we tell you that it was never our intention to make anything less than our best effort. Please, let us know how can we make this right for you, hopping you will give us another chance to make your dream of climbing Aconcagua come true. We can email you if you’d like to chat further about options.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your review with us.
Super recomendable
Experiencia positiva: I went on Aconcagua this year and was disappointed. Our 1 guide in a group of 3 hardly spoke any English. It took away a lot from the experience. Organization was ok but there are much better companies out there for the same price. Like Grajales, Inca, AA
Experiencia negativa: Had a very poor experience December 2019. They arbitrarily divided us into “ ladies” and “ boys”. Also known as “ not summiting” and “ summiting” I felt very discriminated against.
Dear Mrs. Sidra Katdare,
AMG does not discriminate on race, age or gender. We do require physical fitness which is essential to a safe and successful climb. Your team did summit Aconcagua.
Experiencia negativa: Pros: Confluencia and plaza de mulas base camp really nice, food is also good makes you feel like you have paid for 5 star service, they have state of the art showers at Plaza de Mulas BC. After BC. Guide Emilia who was my guide for first two days on solo itenary and Victor the assistant guide really really helpful. When I was exhausted and drained Victor helped me in coming down. Milena from customer service followed up on arrival and answered all my questions. My husband told me that he followed up with FredRico who Was kind enough to reply. Cons: 1. There is a water situation at higher camps. We were told to pay at the PM base camp for the porter to carry extra water. Decision was made that our both the guides main and assistant guide will get water and boil for us. They did boil and delivered the water however I got only one litre in the morning and one in the evening and they did offer hot water for hot beverages for breakfast. 2 litres of water is not enough on a mountain. I feel it’s hard for the guides to finish the hike, come back cook for us and then fetch water in cold weather and boil. Two guides for 6 people doing all the job at high camps is hard. AMG should have more guides or cooking staff for such a big number otherwise it’s just a money making business, pay 126 usd pp to carry water followed by 177$ and 216$ at higher camps pp. 2. Our main guide changed the itenary. Keep in mind the weather and the wind was fine on the day we could have stayed at camp 3. As per the itenary we were supposed to stay at camp 3 before the summit day. This is to acclimatise and to avoid extra 2-3 hours of walking from Camp 2 to camp 3. The way it was presented to us was that it’s difficult to stay at camp 3 as it’s cold and high altitude it’s difficult to sleep. We all agreed to stay at camp 2 and start the summit from camp 2. This was a group decision however we could not disagree as our guide had summit 45 times and we all agreed to whatever he suggested. He was clearly more experienced than us. If I could go back I would stay at camp three as camp 2 was much noisier with the other group expedition and I could have saved energy for the last 120 meters which I drained from camp 2 to camp 3. Every body is different, if one can’t sleep at camp 3 doesn’t mean others can’t sleep at high altitude either. 3. Breaks: during the hike we were given only 10 minutes of breaks. On the summit day we got 2 breaks first one 10 mins and second one 20 minutes, until we almost reached the cave. I kept telling I need a quick 5 mins break to hydrate and quickly eat where our main guide kept pushing and saying no time for break we reach the cave and take a lunch break. By that time I was dehydrated and starved. We got two breaks in 9 hours of hike. Definitely not normal. By the time I almost reached the cave, I was told you are too tired to continue and must leave, this way others will loose the summit. 4. We were a group of 7 out of which only 2 made it to the summit. 6 people made it till camp 3 acclimatisation day Out of which one had a knee problem and one had a history of altitude sickness. At dinner time they were told that if they don’t feel all right please leave as they might spoil others summit, if you continue to stay it’s kind Of selfish of you. Who uses the word selfish. The gentleman with the knee problem kept asking if he could get get a porter if he turn out to be slow but his request was turned down. So they decided to leave the next day. They were not even given a chance to even try to summit. In a group everyone has a different pace and this needs to be taken into consideration by the company which in this case was not handled well. Everyone paid almost the same amount, then why is it important to summit for one person than other. 5. Last one which made me wonder how this company works. Transport from hotel to the airport is not included and if you take the transport from AMG u get sedan for USD 40. Hotel booked a transport for me and paid USD 4. I still don’t understand the ratio on how the pricing works.
Dear Mrs. Dilpreet Marwah
I am sorry your climb of Aconcagua did not go as you hoped. I appreciate your nice comments on our Base Camp amenities and service as well as both guides, Emilia and Victor and office staff Milena and Federico.
Reaching the summit of a high-altitude mountain like Aconcagua for your first mountain experience, with a requested 4 day shortened itinerary (18 days shortened to 14 days) and apparently little training is a very difficult thing to do. We have a number of individuals who do a shorter program with us every year with great success, but they usually train at altitude before and are prepared for the rigors of high altitude climbing. Our office staff and website make it quite clear about the difficulties of a shortened climb. The lack of good acclimatization beforehand makes summitting very difficult, especially when challenging weather and high winds are involved.
The following are comments to your points made above.
1) Water at high camp. It is the first time in 10 years water has not been easily available in Camp 1, Your guide who has 40+ ascents of the mountain considered asking members to carry water or using porters if needed. However, after further exploration around Camp 1 they found a snow field some distance from the camp. Guides carried snow to the camp in large bags and were able to melt snow and provide 5 liters of water per client for cooking and hydration. This is sufficient for the one night spent in Camp 1 and the 1,500 foot carry the next day. No porter fees were charged to members for carrying water on the entire climb.
2) Guide ratio, one guide for three clients is the standard for all guide companies on Aconcagua and we have great success with this ratio. Last year 23 out of 26 AMG expeditions reached the summit even with extended periods of bad weather in the 2018 season. So far, every team this year has summited. A Private guide can be useful but is no guarantee of reaching the summit, but they do provide clients the possibility to stay longer on the mountain if they choose. AMG includes two extra weather days for summit climbs.
3) Your climb had difficult weather conditions which caused the team to exceed the two additional weather days in AMG’s itinerary so an attempt from Camp 2 was our last opportunity when the weather improved. It is a long way from camp 2 but we always try to make the summit if possible. Two out of the 5 climbers attempting the summit were successful.
4) All our lead guides are certified guides with medical training. They carry medical kits that contain the required medical supplies and equipment for the mountain. At Camp two are medically trained rangers and a permeant station from the Rescue Patrol with a hut prepared for emergencies. We also carry oxygen on all summit climbs for additional safety.
5) Our guides speak good English but is not always perfect. If they used the word selfish, we apologize. What they are trying to convey is that at certain points on the summit attempt a climber may be asked to be turn around due to lack of energy to reach the summit. An assistant guide will descend with these climbers. Safety is our primary concern and always comes before reaching the summit. Hernan, the lead guide, has great reviews for being helpful and for assisting climbers in reaching the summit.
6) Breaks on the mountain are given throughout the trip. Stops are made for short periods of time so that climbers do not get cold.
7) AMG does not include a return car to the airport on a specific day as many of our climbers stay longer in Mendoza visiting wineries and other adventures. When requested we hire drivers who are well known and trusted for safety and good service.
Experiencia fantástica: Aconcagua Mountain Guides perfectly organized our trip to the top of the mountain. Everything went extremely well: The booking process was easy and flawless. Whenever we had a question or concern we got an immediate response. Our guides - and the other guides of a group that went on the same schedule - were absolutely great: Their knowledge, their experience, and their assistance made this a exceptional - and successful :-) experience. They made us feel as if we were friends. What a great team!

Experiencia fantástica: Completed an expedition on Aconcagua in December 2017 with Aconcagua Mountain Guides. Ranks as one of my most enjoyable expeditions thanks to outstanding logistics, helpful staff, experienced guides and a beautiful mountain. I can strongly recommend AMG. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
Experiencia fantástica: I not big on writing reviews unless the service a received is exceptionally good, or exceptionally bad. AMG definably deserve 5 star rating for their services. My friend and I used their logistic services in while climbing Aconcagua. While the other logistic companies I contacted gave me a list of prices, AMG does not try just to sell service. They understood my needs and offered me a few options at reasonable price. On the mountain, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that my needs are meet.
Experiencia fantástica: The entire staff works hard to make the customer feel comfortable and satisfied
